Our Beliefs

In one, God eternally existing through the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (1Timothy 3:16)

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.  (Genesis 1:1)

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ
In His virgin birth, (Matthew 1:23) in His sinless life, (Hebrews 7:26; Peter 2:22) in His miracles,

(Acts 2:22; 10:38) in His vicarious and atoning death, (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21) in His bodily resurrection, (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39;

1 Corinthians 5:21) in His ascension into heaven he is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest, and He will return to establish His kingdom of righteousness and justice. (Acts 1:9, 11; 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3)

Salvation is made possible through the meritorious work of Jesus Christ on the cross and through Holy Spirit’s conviction. Man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. The New Birth is necessary to all men, and the experience produces eternal life. (2 Corinthians 7:10; Titus 2:11; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47; Titus 3:5-7)

…“”Being regenerated into new life and born again by the spirit of God.”

…“The only means of being cleaned from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.”

Is by immersion, a direct commandment of our Lord (Matthew 28:19) and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
(Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39)

The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord.

(Hebrews 12:14) We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation. (Hebrews 13:12; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1;2; Ephesians 5:26; 1 Corinthians 6:11; John 17:17; I Thessalonians 5:23)

…“in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian can live a holy life.”

The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and with fire (Matthew 3:11), is a gift from God, as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation of time, and received after the new birth. (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts 10:44-48)

… “Pentecost talks about baptism with the spirit and speaking in tongues, being filled with the spirit and the relation of Jesus Christ to the believers by miracles, signs, and wonders. (Acts 1:5; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:33; Luke 3:16-17, Luke 12:49)

Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God, through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15)  It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every church member today.  (1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5)

…“The redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing in the power of prayer.”

(1 Corinthians 11:24-26)
The Lord’s Supper is a very special — special ordinance of the church. Water baptism occurs one time.  The Lord’s Supper as oft as you will.

…“Take, eat; this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.”

…“This cup is the new testament in my blood; this, do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”

…“For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he comes.”

This same Jesus… “shall so come in like manner (Acts 1:11) as ye have seen him go into heaven.” His coming is imminent; when he comes, “The dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

… And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:29)

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and the image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Jesus Christ, the Son of God is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire and; therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the gospel or repenting. “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23; Romans 3:10) Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the devil’s work, and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man to God. (1 John 3:8)

Buried with Christ by immersion- Baptism in the Holy Spirit, also; The Golden Rule from God, for mankind toward others is; “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7:12)

Jesus endorses tithing – but expects His Followers to exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees whom He encouraged to continue tithing. (Matthew 23:23) (Malachi 3:7-11, Hebrews 7:2; 1 Corinthians 9:7-11; 16:2)
